Until
now, little has been written about Akan religion and culture
from the perspective of Africans in the Diaspora. Instead,
practioners and holders of the culture have relied on the
oral tradition to learn and then practice Akan religion
and rituals.

serving as a powerful primer for those ready to be immersed
in African spirituality, rather than standing on the sidelines.
